Your donation today will help us teach young women how to “build” four key skills: Purpose, Passion, Power, and Profit. Building each will enable them to become more personally independent. Thank you.
The National Association of Women Business Owners propels women entrepreneurs into economic, social, and political spheres of power, worldwide.
You're invited to our year-round programming. We are virtual for the time being and look forward to the in-person activities.

GirlBiz, a NAWBO/EXCEL program, is designed to educate teenage girls about financial independence through one day conferences and workshops that focus on entrepreneurship and economic responsibility. GirlBiz events introduce young women to women business owners and women in business and allow them to learn about various careers and interact one on one with the women who facilitate each event. The women business owners and women in business volunteer their time and talent to facilitate.
Our newly redesigned GirlBiz program promises to be more dynamic than ever, giving us wonderful opportunities to demonstrate to our youth the power and potential that they have for great success as leaders! Newly appointed chairs and committees for GirlBiz have been hard at work designing, creating and executing a program for GirlBiz that we know will have a lasting impact in Southeastern Michigan.
